Once a warrior has attained this facility, she can fire a volley of arrows with amazing speed and precision, striking one target after another. Veteran mercenaries often tell a tale of a new recruit who was nearly struck down in battle because he was too distracted when first seeing an Amazon use this ability. Do not doubt his word, as he is probably referring to himself. Just smile and buy him another tankard of ale.

- Each arrow or bolt is transformed into a volley of shots, aimed at targets within its radius. Regardless of the number fired per volley, each volley only decreases quiver quantity by one. Any manually selected target will be attacked first.
- Skill descriptions do not display minimum arrows, and incorrectly display min(slvl+4 , 10) maximum arrows.
- Number of arrows fired per volley is determined by minimum arrows or number of targets, whichever is higher, up to the ceiling determined by maximum arrows. For example, level 7 Strafe fires minimum 3 arrows and maximum 10 arrows: 3 arrows are fired at 1-3 targets, 4-9 arrows are fired at 4-9 targets and 10 arrows are fired at 10 or more targets.
- Volley is the same length regardless of whether targets are all in one direction or scattered all around. However, when targets are scattered it can reduce the effectiveness of Pierce.
- Amazon cannot move until the end of each volley.
- Cold length is also reduced to 75%: poison length isn't reduced.
- Poison length is calculated differently when multiple items applying poison damage are used with skills that apply less than 100% weapon damage: Poison length = [sum of lengths / (sources - 1) ] [1] [2]
- Percentage Life Stolen and Mana Stolen per hit is also reduced to 75%, rounding down: this means 4% is reduced to 3%, and 1% is reduced to 0%. [3]
